Spurs To Remain At Wembley Till March 2019

Tottenham have confirmed that the club will not be moving out of the Wembley stadium to their new White Hart Lane until at least March.

The North London club were initially billed to open their new ground in September 2018 but construction delays and safety checks hindered this move.

Updates from their constructors say that the issues have been rectified but that more checks need to be carried out.

This means that Spurs games against Watford, Newcastle and Leicester City, as well as a Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund at least, would be played at Wembley.

Since Spurs have no home fixture in February, should they progress in the FA Cup and be drawn to play at home the game will take place at Wembley.
