Transfer Gist: Juventus Sign Ronaldo From Real Madrid

European Champions, Real Madrid have announced the departure of their Portuguese talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo to Italian champions, Juventus.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid aftermath of the Champions League final triumph against Liverpool which saw Madrid win their third consecutive champions League trophy.

The deal is reported to be around the region of £99.2 million with Ronaldo deciding to leave the Bernabeu after nine successful years.

The 33-year old leaves the club as the Club's all-time highest goalscorer with 450 goals in 438 games.

His trophy laden career at the Bernabeu also saw him win two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies and four UEFA Champions League trophies with three of those coming in his last three seasons under Zinedine Zidane.

Juventus are will play Real Madrid in a pre-season International Champions Cup (ICC) tournament in the United States, with the match taking place at FedEx Field in Washington on Saturday, 4th August.
