Zinedine Zidane Signs First Player In Second Reign

Real Madrid have completed the signing of FC Porto defender, Eder Militao for a reported fee of €50 million and the young defender will put pen to a six-year deal.

The 21-year old Brazil International has been on the radar of Real Madrid for a long time but a deal is reported to have been agreed for a move in the summer.

Militao becomes the first signing of returning Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane who returned after barely 10 months after leaving.

He is reportedly returned with a more commanding role in determining transfers in and out of the team.

Militao who originally plays as a centre back can also feature at right back and made his international debut for Brazil in September 2018.

He joined Porto from Sau Paulo just in the summer of 2018 when he signed a five-year deal. Having barely spent 12 months on that contract, he has already agreed a move away from the club.

Real Madrid will be hoping that he can replicate the form that caught their attention and help steady an already wearing defence.
