Liverpool earn more than Premier League champion

LONDON (Reuters) - Liverpool, the Premier League champions, have made a bigger profit than Manchester City, the Premier League champion, thanks to the revenue of the big Leeds TV shows.

Liverpool earned 173 million euros, including television (38.8 million euros), second place prize (42.5 million euros) and the amount paid per team (92 million euros).

The Reds are the most popular clubs in the Premier League for the season (2018-2019).

Manchester City came second with 171.7 million euros, followed by Chelsea on third with 165.9 million euros.
