• Finally, today will be about leagues, i know a lot already missed it and I am guilty of such. The Uefa's Nations league really engaged me over the past week but it cant just be like the major league.

• Oops back on board and a lot of matches needed to be covered. My attention will be on the English premier league today but i will still do some covers on other major league. Some players i perceived will be rested today, reasons been that we have the champions league ahead.

• Information reaching me here is that Paris saint German star man, Neymar wont be available this week, the reason he is been rested is because of the Uefa's champions league match between Paris Saint German and Liverpool f.c. Well, i Think Liverpool will be considering such and today match against Tottenham Hotspur, Fabinho and Shaqiri might be given their main first role play.

According to source, Neymar has been rested for Paris Saint-Germain's clash with Saint-Etienne on Friday ahead of their Champions League date with Liverpool. PSG coach Thomas Tuchel said in his pre-match news conference on Thursday that he was toying with the idea of leaving Neymar out of the squad following the international break. Ultimately, the German has opted to leave Neymar at home to ensure he is completely fresh to face Liverpool at Anfield in their Champions League Group C opener on Tuesday.

• With the new additional face to Liverpool's team, i think Liverpool team have the required depth to compete against any team and as such, we will be seeing their first major test against Tottenham Hotspur today. Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand is another great team who will be looking to get back to winning ways after they lost their last match against Watford f.c.

• The first English Premier league match this week shall take place between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. It is an early kick off that will take place at Wembley. A win and a good goal margin can take Tottenham team into first position and a win for reds will still keep them on top of the log. This is surely going to be a strong match that might end on shared point, who knows?

• Watford will have to prove themselves again when they host Manchester united earlier today. It is not new to us seeing those small team topping the log at first when the league start, when things are back on point, they will surely take another shape lol. It is going to be a very strong match between the two and Watford might surprise us today and go top of the league if Liverpool f c loose or secures a draw at Wembley.

• Lastly, Chelsea f.c will host Cardiff city and i think the blues might use this opportunity to also go top of the table. Currently, we have so many choices as per who will top the log this season and i think the blues are in good position to do that. Tottenham vs Liverpool f.c will be a very big decisive match while Watford Vs Manchester united will be another, i think this is an opportunity for the blues to go on top.
