England U20 won Toulon Tournament for third successive time

in #football6 years ago

Young Lions proved themselves as most exciting national squad that emerged in teenage football as they won their third Toulon Tournament in row. Mexico was the last team to surrender in final game – 2:1. Middlesbrough’s Dael Fry, Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah and Everton’s Kieran Dowell as well as Chelsea’s Tabby Abraham among the others did well to secure a team another title.

Last year both England U20 and U17 won World Cups so senior squad can definitely rely on young players massive intake over years.

Wow, congratulations to the young lions.
One thing I noticed about English players is that they will start very well and promising but instead to improve with age them will drop form unexpectedly, the likes of Jack wallshire, Walcott, lennon Adam Johnson to mention but a few.

Good point, man
Probably the big media is partly responsible for such decline – they simply put hell of the pressure on young stars. Just look at the recent scandal with Sterling's tattoo – it's pure insanity made out of nothing.
And the other thing that comes to mind – why 90% of English players just don't go play outside UK?

please i need an upvote.
