Luis Enrique took over Spain national team

Troubled Spain have appointed the new head coach after suffering the consequences of sacking their previous coach Julen Lopetegui one day before the start of World Cup. Former Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has been confirmed as new head of Red Fury after interim manager Fernando Hierro stepped down after unconvincing results in (and against) Russia.

48-year-old specialist has agreed a two-year deal which is focused on qualification for Euro 2020. Undoubtedly Luis Enrique will be facing a lot of job to do as he need to create completely new squad.

  • As Barcelona manager Luis Enrique won 2 La Liga titles, 3 Spanish Cups, 1 Supercopa and the 2014/15 Champions League
  • At 2018 World Cup Spain been eliminated by hosts Russia in the Last 16

I think Luis Enrique choice as head coach for Spain is a nice decision based on his experience , I believe he will take Spain to a new height in world football @topgame

It seems to me that the directive of Spain is doing things terribly. A coach is not forged overnight, and if eliminating the Spanish team in the World Cup is reason enough to be able to make a technical change again, I do not know what future will await them. A coach should have the freedom to test players, try tactics, create chemistry, in short, must have preparation days. Luis Enrique is a talented man, I hope he can do a great job.

Louise Enrique will do well ,which everybody saw when he was couching Barcelona, my fear is club is different from country can he manage the giants or will he totally desolve the players and bring in younger players.

The coach that was sacked deserve that ,where am against is the coach the lead them in worldcup should not be thrown away just like that.

They never should have sacked Lopetegui
