Man City Yaya Toure points at Nemanja Matic as the toughest opponent ever

in #football6 years ago

Honored as most important player or "New-era Man City", that big man Yaya Toure is leaving Citizens at the end of the season. Being asked by City’s official site to look back at what has been a great last eight years of his career and pick up toughest Premier League opponent he's ever come up against, the Ivorian has named only one person: Nemanja Matic

I hate him, this bastard! He’s such a difficult player to play against. Tall and strong as well. It’s been fun to play against him, even though it’s difficult. He’s powerful, he’s tall.
To be able to find an opponent to play against me and stop me… there’s few of them, but Matic was one of the close ones who was able to give me problems.

He can run. He can fall back. He can track. He can fight. He’s a good, good player.

Lol, what a nice pick!

BTW, Toure also hinted that he’s keen to stay in Premier League for a while bit more but only Burnley is rumored to be interested in service of the veteran midfielder. Which is beyond imaginable, of course.
