Netherlands secure surprising 3:0 win against Germany

The Netherlands national team, who missed both latest Euro and World Cups, is progressing very well to return into the top. On Saturday night Oranje surprised all the spectators after securing a thrashing 3:0 win against once great Germany in Nations League clash. The opener was scored on 29th minute when Netherlands captain Virgil van Dejk explored mistake made by Manuel Neuer and headed the open goal in. Despite the dominance through the entire game, Germany failed to covert a single chance into the result they desperately needed. Meanwhile, Dutch team's counter-attacking tactics was fruitful – on the 87th minute Quincy Promes supplied Memphis Depay with perfect assist as duo left all German defenders far behind. Tenacious midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum did well to convert the courage caught by his side into goal with precise shot on 92nd minute. Germany went down 3:0 which is not shocking already but still very surprising result.
