Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles caught signing a blank sheet of paper instead of new contract

Troubled Premier League side Newcastle, who is still looking for the first win of the season, added some perspectives by extending a contract with club’s captain Jamaal Lascelles. 24-year-old centre-back just signed a new six-year-old deal with the Magpies, denying the interest of bigger clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United.

It's supposed to be quite a standard piece of news, but closer inspection of picture taken from the official Newcastle site made us aware about the accuracy of the given information. Or It’s just ink economy at Mike Ashley’s office?

Anyways, Newcastle fans should be glad about the news. Lascelles, who signed his previous contract just last year, is definitely deserved a new deal for his convincing performances at the back of the team. Still young, Newcastle captain has everything to make his footballing future great within next 4-5 years.
