Is every shape/structured formed predetermined/programmed, or is it aleatory after some imputs have been entered?
It is incredible how this can summarize life cycles; all the forms, shapes and textures can be contained in the same origin and go back to it.
I find this kind of (3d) fractals philosophical: it makes one think about the deeper layers of reality and what lies behind everything we experience as reality in our daily life!

Oh.... it´s the 3d advancement of the famous Mandelbrot-set (3d out of 4d-formulas).... so mere mathematics
but the resulting forms may be programmed by a lot of parameters. So a lot of work to program and find the good-looking results :)

yep absolutely........ a 3d "shadow" of a 4d world :)
And maybe that 4d world is a "shadow" of a 5d world etc.
allways fascinating theories!
But in fact looking at fractal zooms etc . gives a little more "understanding" of infinity...
