A terrible lie
Intuition discovers a terrible lie:
there is a relentless and vengeful God,
Observing and punishing the world.
Puppeteers make us blind
and they continue deceiving us,
enthroning hypocrisy
of human theater.
We are lackeys of the power
that moves in the world,
glorifying selfishness
"I am who I am",
invoked in ancestral stores
with the smell of spent incense
and a calculated confinement
by the elites conspiring.
"The truth will set you free",
but they bandaged it, they tied it
And they expropriated it.
Human blindness,
seduced and induced
by free will,
That's not free, but you agree.
You look in the mirror of time
and is agitated, fighting
To find, out of the labyrinth, the exit.
Heaven or hell?
Both are lies
There is only one truth,
old shared data:
"Love each other",
That is the exit.
Love is not a feeling, it is being.
that inhabits us,
But, the spiders that weave incessantly.
the threads that hold
the world instead,
They deny it, they hide it, they drown it.
They dye it red and spoil it.
Between being or not being what we are,
One is, added with others.
Then, "I am who I am"
Yes, it is activated with love,
without forgetting that the other,
It is also what it is.
In the exact measurement
in which all of us
We can be who we are,
with respect and justice,
There is growth and learning.
A terrible lie is to accept.
that there is nothing else,
that we continue being puppets
Forever.
Love grows, love already walks.
and we are learning.
It is Love that will set us free!

Very well penned. Lies foment hate and hate is death… death of the heart, death of the soul, death of hope. But, Love is hope… Love is Life.

Beautifully written. I must also write a poem for this challenge.. though, as a judge, i have opted out of steem winnings.
I have been thinking about this alot... because the big 'I AM' is all ego. The true 'I am' is LOVE as you say. Undoubtedly. If only we could all be motivated, and act from, this core of our beings.

What I love about your poem, and I don't know if you intended this on purpose, are the butterfly pictures illustrating it. For me the truth as such was always like the butterfly. Or rather the colors of its wings. You can see it all around you, you can observe it, enjoy it, know it to its fullest extent. But as soon as you try to capture it, the colors get smudged on your fingers, the fragile wings fall off, and the little creature dies. Likewise, every time some tries to capture the truth, it gets corrupted and turned into its opposite.
We agree in that appreciation, the truth becomes so voluble that it turns, twists, recoils, advances, moves like the butterflies and presents so many dyes, colors and fragility.
