Let's face it, the 9-5 grind sucks! And as robots (AI) begin to take over our jobs, freelancing is the best career you'll want to have.
Yeah, that's right.
As a Freelance you can find plenty of work online, work your own hours and be your own boss.

But I recommend making freelancing a side job until you know what you're doing. Because, telling your BOSS to go F$%K himself and then needing a job again in 3 months because you couldn't figure it out, isn't a smart move.
Anyway, give Freelancing a try.
And it can totally just be something you're already good at, or you can even change your career completely.
The choice is yours, and you'll soon begin to love having choices in life.
You see, some Freelancers take the opportunity to travel the world and still make money because the work they do is online.
Making money while you sleep is actually a thing.

Dream jobs? If I could do anything at all - Explore Mars - astronaut, cartographer, explorer colonist!!
And my other dream job would be Pilot!! Any size plane, but it seems out of reach because of the cost and time to train for certification weighed against my current age and life responsibilities.
But it’s always fun to DREAM!

I here ya, and would jump at the chance to live and work on Mars if it was possible within my lifetime. Although, the biggest problem would be with others understanding/accepting your decisions.
But it's happening, and most likely before NASA gets their act together in late 2030's

I found them yesterday and what they are doing seems interesting. Good things are coming one way or another.
For sure I would write books that became movies I work on. Would be great to just have millions read my stories and enjoy them and meet some famous people that are going to act it out for millions more to see.
I used to work with a screenplay writer, who also dreamed of one day getting a movie deal and seeing his story come to life on the big screen.
He had an agent in Hollywood and everything.
But his decision to stay in his 'safe job' back home in Australia, meant he was never in the right place at the right time to secure a deal.
We only get one shot at this life thing. So it's best to leave it with no regrets.
Good books take a while to write, so you best get started. :-D

Software engineering, mainly because I want to help out the blockchain tech being developed in this space, dapps, smart contracts, new ways of monetization, demand, scarcity, PoS, PoW, there are so many things just in this space, and if you go look to other spaces like AI and nanotech you have another whole world of possibilities.
I'm changing degree to software engineering this year so I guess I'm pretty excited about it xD
Smart move until you realize you'll be coding apps that actually make apps. It's super exciting, but the future app development will be talking to a Alexa type device explaining what your app should do.
Coding will be so 2020 :-P
That's way far far in the future, maybe I'll be the one developing such system xD
10 years max and coding, will be something you say rather than something you do. And I'm sure you will be developing it :-D
Hell, kids can code from age 5 with the high level coding apps that are available today. It's not too further in the future than you think.
Baby Sloth Cuddler/Ice cream testerThis is something I've thought a lot about, I work a full time job, but I work online... and that's super cool, but I'm not really loving what I'm doing.
Maybe Pixel Artist. I'm super terrible at it, because it takes so many hours to get good, which seems easier when someone's paying you to do it.
It's one of those things that you can make money with now, but you'd have to be so amazing good at it.. which takes a trillion hours.

And if you really want to be a PiXeL Artisit then live the dream man. Start a YouTube channel and start building a following.
I bet there are many more people out there dreaming the very same thing. But it's only the ones giving it a try that actually make it.

Lower your expectations, get a screen recorder and teach people as you learn yourself.
You might not realize it, but there are ton of artists following their dream and getting paid via a combination of Patreon and YT ads.
And then there is that MASSIVE merch opportunity awaiting you.
As Kevin Kelly suggests you only need 1000 true fans to make a living.
Another 3 Billion people are yet to make it onto the Internet, and they will arrive in the next few years. The question is will you be ready to share your passion with them?
