Day 354- 5 Minutes Freewrite : A Ray In The Dark
What a day! Tom exclaimed. He had just a warm bath. The day was hectic but the $5 billion dollar deal he closed lightened it.
Just like yesterday, he could still hear his teacher’s voice echoing “Tom is not smart.” He had felt so dejected then. His supportive parents made him realize that grades don’t make a great future.
Tom smiled as he recounted his accomplishments. An authority in the technology world with many innovations to his credit, he didn’t allow the low grades to determine his future. His ability and hard work had paid off.
He was startled out of his daydream by the kids who ran to the patio chattering. “I won’t let you down,” he promised silently.
