VENEZUELA IN THE DARK FOR MORE THAN 72 HOURS.

in #freewrite5 years ago (edited)

Greetings friends of steemit.

Today I want to tell you about my experience after the national blackout that my country Venezuela lived, since Thursday, March 7.

On Thursday, at 4:30 p.m. approximately, the electricity went out in the area where I live ... we waited for hours to arrive, since lately the faults in the electric service have become common in my country, the service is usually resumed after 2 or 3 hours.

But this time it was not like that...

We found out through social networks that it was a national blackout, and yet we hoped that the same day they would resume service ... but the service was not resumed.

As a chain reaction, collapse occurred at a general level.

There was no water supply because the pumps did not have electricity. The hospitals, mostly do not have an electric plant, which unfortunately was tragic as many people died. The traffic lights did not work and as a result caused many traffic accidents nationwide.

Not counting the discomfort in the homes and what is even worse, the loss that brought all this situation to the country, as it was completely paralyzed.

I could say that this is the last straw ... the situation in the country is exacerbated by this demonstration of the ineptitude of a government that continues to pretend to the media, that Venezuela is the country of wonders and that no one can Drive this country, better than them.

Something as delicate as an electrical fault that left the country completely in the dark, and that they could not solve as soon as possible, simply because they do not have the tools that the case deserves ... Mainly preventive maintenance.

For months, the power supply has presented failures, the service is intermittent, many people have been damaged their equipment for these failures, the workers of the electricity company have issued reports referring to the seriousness of the matter and the need for maintenance and the investment to recover the company, however the government has ignored such statements, and the worst has still sanctioned some of the workers who have made such statements.

How do you intend to run a country when basic needs are not addressed, when is it intended to silence the people to cover up the ineptitude of a management that shows more and more deterioration and disability, and who are still clinging to their greed?

Because it is not about wanting to be in power for the love of the country, it is simply the greed that keeps them there, pride and their own interests, without even caring a little about their country and their people!

In many areas of the country, the electricity supply arrived on Friday, March 8 and lasted only 45 minutes. On Saturday in other areas the supply arrived only for a couple of hours and then they were again without electric service.

In the area where I live, the electricity supply never arrived until yesterday at 5 pm, where I finally started writing this publication to express what happened. However, I had electricity but did not have internet to upload the publication to steemit. There are still some states where there is no electric service since Thursday.

We since Thursday were incommunicado, since the telecommunication service was out of coverage. It became impossible to communicate with our relatives and obtain an official version of the events until yesterday, Sunday.

From Saturday, there were demonstrations, barricades and looting of discontent, also in the morning hours of Sunday there were many protests and demonstrations.

The saddest thing of all this, is that President Maduro and his executive train, always create a story to hide the reality, and blame others for their irresponsibility, which demonstrates the inability they have to face the problems that arise in the country, being in this case, the lack of maintenance of the entire electrical system.

According to the president's version, the failure is due to an electrical sabotage, and a cyber attack, which, according to experts, the latter would be discarded since the system is analogous ... But that is the version that they maintains and ensures for do not assume their responsibility.

To conclude, I can only say that definitely, we Venezuelans are a strong people, that we have endured a lot in our day to day, since we got up to work, and that this has been one more proof of what we are going through under this regime. Socialist that I hope with all my heart, it's over soon.

What else is left to suffer in this government, my God!
