Our Ruling Rulers : A Freewrite Poetry.
A close up personal thought
On sand, on water, deep in the earth crust
I've wandered the earth for that great ruler
Who could mankind bow to in absoluteness.

A famine, a surplus, a dirge followed by dearth
None could find peace in a single throne
They came and go, empire crumbles and go
Still, the bloodlines of soldiers flow.

Men among men were they when all started
Beast of beast they became at the end
Making burdens, ruling tight
Beast of all burden were they.
...
A cool new happy day, that same day
Weight lifted off our neck
Tarried gone, taxes in the drain
No one to bear more burden again.
...
To that child seated on the throne
Be easy, deal wisely with your crown
Subject are humans, so are we
Born by blood, but not as lucky as thee.

The rules made, more devilish than his father
The levy must be paid, building his tower
To your work, he never cease to call
And we showed him our true colour.
