I have always wondered why do they call it a cocktail?
Does it have to do with the look of the drink compared to that of a cocks tail?

It’s actually a word I refuse to say, cocktail. I have referred to it as a rooster drink, fruity slurp, lady sauce, frozen goodness but never will I say cocktail!

Oh, I agree! Cock isn't exactly one of my favourite words to say, haha.
I've taken to labeling my drinks like so:
Whiskey = Sanity Booze
Wine = Sanity Wine
Cocktails = depends on which one it is. I usually only make the same one at home though, so, Blue Juice!! :D (blue curacao + coconut rum + vodka + pineapple juice)
I googled it, and apparently we have the french to blame. ;)

"Share" I really dislike the word "share" as it is commonly used as meaning "to speak your mind".

Something about share seems mandatory, like we are taught as kids to share but inherently we have the instinct to self preservation. Just a constant battle provoking concept even though it’s meant to reflect equality.
