Prompt of the day “Hook” - Manipulating Positive Change
When trying to make positive change whether it is for the direct benefit of those it will affect or not, you must have a hook.
The hook must be empowering and not degrading, provide the solution to the problem within the empowerment.
It must also be the uniting factor for which everyone can get behind despite any possible differences of opinion along with it a simple means of participation!
So the problem, @DTube is haemorrhaging money to host our videos and older videos are deleted thus become no longer playable and is lost value for the platform and users alike!
#OneLoveDTube’s first step towards the solution is our IPFS Node for video backup(though temporary), second step is our uploader to eliminate the need for DTubes server expenses while still hosting your videos efficient, both are easily accessed and used!
The third step and most crucial is self hosting of your own video files, DTubes video hosting works like torrents meaning the more nodes the better playability! We each need to pull up our socks and empower ourselves and others through hosting of DTube videos, if not we may eventually see an end to the platform we all #OneLoveDTube 🙏

I am not a regular dtuber or a vlogger... So I am not sure what to say. But then not being able to load our old videos is not a good user experience... I know I would be sad if I couldn't load my old videos...

Yea it’s one of those things we have been dealing with since the beginning, there are solutions in the works for a system that will be user sustainable in the future and should help to support DTube aswell as the users!
