Prompt Of The Day “Perfume” - Pe Rfu Me!!!
Danny got home from the grocery store to realize the milk he just purchased was expired! Quickly hopping back on his mobility chair, about as quick as he could anyways, he ripped back to the store!
Rolling right up to the customer service counter to a gorgeous little lady sitting doing her nails to be met with a look of shock as he has never been in the store with his scooter before. “Pe Rfu Me” Danny says as the lady looks back at him dumbfounded, you see it was a hot rod scooter.
This lady being so self involved though he was trying to ask about her perfume, a new brand she was hoping someone would ask about.
The Little Lady carried on for several minutes with Danny interrupting her constantly getting more and more aggravated each time saying “no no no Pe Rfu Me” and being the flirt she was would not tell him the name nor did she realize he was smashing a jug of milk on the counter.
You see Danny was a handsome lad at 30 and had a built upper body but his lower failed him, nothing stopped Danny and no one ever challenged him! He was born with a speech impediment and those who know him understand completely.
The Manager luckily intervened with two jugs of milk for Danny for the sake of the frustration. Danny smiled at the Manger frowned at the Little Lady and lit his tires up on his way out the front door!
“He didn’t even notice me slip him my number” says the Little Lady looking at the Manager with a smile whom is now frowning intensely at her.

It looked so much like a real life story. Seriously. I thought it actually happened.
Though the beginning wanted to be funny but when I knew of the impediment, the whole story changed to seriousness for me.

That’s why I had to add the little PS work of fiction 😅 Danny is a real guy I know since childhood but I drastically exaggerated his impediments, if he was on a scooter and had that bad of a speech impediment that would be precisely how he would handle it 😉
It’s ok to laugh, it would be at the situation not the persons impediment.... just expressing with this one how one persons reality can have no relation to another’s even when experiencing the same situation 🤔
