Prompt of the day “SnapShot” - Newbie Support! How Do I Set Beneficiary???
You all know I’m about helping and encouraging people to continue posting on the platform as well as supporting their efforts to do so.
I decided to stop into the introduce yourself tag and came across a few good content creators brand new to the platform.
One of them returned my interest and comment on their post by stopping in on my post. She returned my support for her in a very personal manner which immediately won my interest.

I’m a typical man, her picture caught my attention but her comment response won my heart. She is already a true Steemian reaching out to those showing signs of frustration and she just got here! I said I would take you a special shot of Jerry and here you go, all yours!

He was 6 monght old... And he was poisoned...
He struggled two days but he died in my arms, leaving me with my heart broken... Some nights I dream of him and I wake up crying... I still fell him around me... He was my little angel and he didn't deserved that fate...
That’s terrible, sorry to hear you and your pooch went through that. Be comforted in knowing he was precisely where he wanted to be while passing, in your loving embrace ❤️
Now when you think of him and he is near he will be wondering, “mom why are you so sad?” as you cry he will be saying “cheer up mom I feel much better now” and when you head off for the day he will say “I love being able to be with you everywhere!”
If he was your little angel in his life you better believe it he’s your angel for the rest of yours 😇

I have never heard of beneficiaries so not sure how to go about that. Usually after the post payout, we transfer the amount to the receiver by ourselves. Glad to know @buonalucy through you and such a big heart you have.
Yea I’ll have to do the transfer after payout, beneficiary is like DTube or SteemPeak taking a cut with post and can only be set in the same block post is cast.

I don't think that you can set a beneficiary after you posted. But you can make a transfer after your post pays out...
Or gift her with some SBI

Transfer is easy. Well, you can't transfer SP but you can delegate SP. If you want to transfer you have to power down the amount you want to give - or set another post to 50/50 payout :)
What I can do is save enough liquid Steem to account for the rewards of the post then power up her account from wallet on steemit, no power downs on this account I’ll just hustle harder 😅

Use Steemapeak, its easy to set benefaceries there. If you post from Steemapeak, press the button if the person and the plus sign and it'll let you set them. Easiest way to do it.

Is there a way of changing the beneficiary after the post has gone up? For say this post made with Partiko?

Nope, the chain won't allow it. Beneficaries must be set on the same block as the post was made.
