Seed saving! 5 minute freewrite.
This is the story of the boy Mark and his father.
Every week Mark went with his father to the nut shop to buy a variety of dried seeds, placed in metal containers inside a glass display cabinet. In each of their visits, they dispensed the products separately in small plastic bags.
Mark's father had taught him that he should administer the seeds, since they could only go to the store once a week. Mark took his father's advice since in his room he began to be seed saving.
One day Mark's father, now unemployed, became very sad, since they couldn't keep going to the store.
Mark knowing his father's problem approached him affectionately and said:
Daddy don't worry, I have a surprise for you. Come to my room.
There, stored on a wooden shelf, there were variety of seeds and accumulated nuts.
He couldn't believe it, hugged him and said
You have learned what saving means, save in abundance for when the need arises.
