Hilarious Krappi (Crappy) Call on Radio Show (Freewrite's Prompt - Radio Show)
Every morning, when I send my son to school, both of us will have some good laughing time in the car listening to a radio show called FlyFM with Hafiz and Guibo, the two main hosts.
They are entertaining dudes, always cracking up jokes in the wee early morning that I have decided I won't drink my coffee in the car in case the jokes are too humorous I might laugh and spit out my coffee.
We love the Krappi Call session whereby they will make a Krappi call to some random people (prior submission by their friends), sort of like a prank call.
There was once a super hilarious one. Here how it sounded like.
Guibo: Hello, is this the shop that sells swimwear?
Mr.X: Ah.. Yes yes.
Guibo: I want to buy bikini for my wife. Do you sell bikini? Because we are going to the beach soon.
Mr.X: Ah.. Yes we have bikini.
Guibo: Here is the thing. I have a problem. I am ketua kampung (chief village) and I have a very beautiful wife. I notice alot of men in the village always stare at her because she is pretty and I am not very handsome. I don't want other guys to keep look at her. I notice some of the guys more handsome than me, you know, I takut (scared). But she still insists want to wear bikini for the trip. So do you sell bikini that cover her chest? If can cover most skin is even better.
Mr.X: [started giggling behind] Erm... Yes we sell bikini. But bikini sure expose. What about those swimwear with long sleeves one?
Guibo: Kennot! (cannot) She said she must wear bikini. Just for once for this special trip. So must be bikini. Or why not like this. Do you think we can try to tape something at the bikini chest area so that it can cover her chest part ah?
Mr.X: [can hear him try to refrain from laughing] err.. What do you mean?
Guibo: like cut a plastic or something lah and cover the bikini chest part so it looks like bikini yet won't expose her? Can or not?
Mr.X: Er.. Er.. I can try. You can bring your wife here I will ask my girl assistant to help. See how..
Guibo: oh you are so helpful. I really want her to be happy have her bikini yet don't want her to be sexy. So thank you for helping. Maybe this afternoon I ask two friends to your shop and buy the bikini.
Mr.X: better your wife come along too.
Guibo: OK OK. The two friends are Hafiz and Guibo from Fly Fm will come to your shop first.
Mr.X: [pause a while] FlyFM? Radio?
Guibo: you are on Radio Live show. And you are on our Krappi Call!!!
Both laughed out loud. So did my son and I!!!

You will only get if your friends and family call them up and give them some info about recent happening. Or else you will not get the call. :p
I always pity the people they play pranks on. It’s funny if we’re listening to it but I still pity the victims...
Yes but thank God this one is not so much so 100% prank. The hosts will make sure it is meant for good. And will filter and ensure the person's name or reputation will not be tarnished. Not those jahat type prank call. In fact sometimes the hosts sound more hilarious than the one receiving the call.
Laughing first thing in the morning, definitely sets the mood for the rest of the day... and to do it with your loved ones... that's precious :)
