Who's not smart? (Fiction) | Freewrite's Prompt - not smart

"He is smart enough to me," Cassie said.

"No he is not. He is not smart," Rico interrupted with impatience.

"For a child like him, he is smart enough, please... He is my only child, don't send him away," Cassie pleaded with tears.

"You married into this family, you don't have a say. I said he is not smart enough, in fact not at all. He doesn't even have my look. And he s-s-tutter. I even start to wonder did you cheat on me. This ain't look like my gene. He doesn't fit the royal."

"Dare you said that again! A father doesn't insult his own child!" she added, this time with rage.

"Oh yeah? I never think he is my child. Like I said, I suspect you cheated on me. That's why he is not of my gene. We, the royal highness, we are smart, we have special power and that is why we are endowed to take care of the Stars."

"You know what, I could not accept what the sorcerer said today that he has mental disability? What's the scientific name?.....Argh, screw the name. I am sending him away to special school. There he will be guided by special pixies. We can get another child."

"Okay, you know what, I am leaving this Kingdom. I will take care of him. He is mine. I am his mother," Cassie declared with tears in her eyes.

In that moment, they heard footsteps running away from their room. Oh dear, it was Soni. He must had heard everything and seriously broken now.

"It's all you fault!" Cassie shouted.

Suddenly, they was a tremendous screaming from the ground floor. It was so loud Cassie and Rico had to cover up their eyes and squat down due to headache. The ground began to shake and all the glasses in the hall shattered to pieces.

It went on for 1 minutes before the scream subsided. Cassie ran to where Soni was and saw him in pain and tears, hurt by his parents' words.

His power was revealed when he was in rage.

"Well well well, look who is my son now?" Rico stepped while clapping his hands, amazed by Soni's power. "Come here, boy!"

Soni did not inch even abit.

"Get away from him. The Royal Highness shouldn't get his hands dirty because he is of the smart and powerful. Also, remember, you said he is not your child. So. Don't. Ever. Touch. My. Son. Again. We are leaving!" Cassie exclaimed.
