Laying on my bed shivering
Still my comforter drenched with sweat
My bed soaked like the pool boy
Stretching here and there like a nightmare

The songs of the bed is like a bell
Constantly ringing in my head
Trying to drown out the pain it caused
Head rolled to the side in pain

Lips chanting incoherently
A hand constantly checking
Either cold or warm it is
A drop of wet cloth on the skin
Restores the body back to its place

Sunlight shinning into the room
She is awake they said
Eyes open in wonder
