Beads. Mardi Gras beads
so many mardi gras beads. I can't bead-lieve there are so many beads!
They jingle on the ground. what what what what what what what what
They jangle on the ground. They ground my teeth down. That's what I need, bead.
Waling down the street after a big parade is like walking through trash heaven. All the best trash lies there. Tangles of beads, cups, forgotten love. The time before the street sweepers is magical. The evening is filled with a breath of exhaustion. The trees remember to hug you. The roots of the trees trip you with love. The heavy, dampy scent of the wild mingles with the heavy damp scent of spilled beer. It's not Bourbon street, thank goodness, but it is a full street of wonder and and and and and
and that kind of feeling you get after hot, sweaty love. That kind of roll around in the sheets. Enjoy for just the moment things you'd otherwise think were icky, like sweat and hair and discomfort.
Love those moments. Until the night cools you. You're clammy. You're not hot anymore. You're just a person. A
