Depression: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge
Good day Steemians and freewriters around the world!
I am unable to create my freewrites recently, and I am back to share my #freewrite from two days ago which the prompt is depression.
Depression...
A word often overlooked.
But it's afflicting numerous people.
It can't kill you for having it
but it you can kill yourself if you have it.
Sadly, a lot of people are resorting to
ending their life.
They cannot control their mind and emotions.
They can't take it anymore.
Anxiety is so strong that they can't hardly take it.
Recently, Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain ended their life.
They battled the mental illness for long.
Remember, when Chester Bennington
ender his life too.
In the past, he's been open with his mental battles.
They even had a song from the last Linkin Park album entitled
"Nobody Can Save Me Now".
It's like he's crying for help.
Yet having such condition is not easy
to be helped by mere words.
They need something to reframe their minds to light.
It's difficult and being stuck in such condition couldn't be understood unless you have it.
So having such affliction needs help.
Seek help for your wellness.
And to the family and friends, awareness is necessary.
