Good Morning Sunshine (5-Minute Freewrite Challenge)
When you're stuck in a place when the sun doesn't shine for days. Raining every hour, covering every ground with water. Worrying that the flood water will get imside the house. Your life will surely be affected.
Those days are almost over. But another storm is coming. Praying it will not make landfall. Or else, it will bring some worries again.
Our place is vulnerable to floods. A year ago has been the worst flood we had. Flooding despite the rain has stopped. But waters released from dam hits the lowlands. High tide contributes to the flood as well.
We just wanted our lives to be back to normal. As the sun rises in the morning, I can just greet "Good morning sunshine". Make everything dry. Our lives will be back to how it used to. Believing that blue skies gives new hope.
