Burning - My Freewrite
The burning question on her mind was who was he? for days now, she had watched him watching her - at least that is what she thought she he was doing.
It had been 5 days ago that he was in front of her in line at the coffee shop and bumped into her as he was turning.
Something happened right at that moment. It was like a jolt of electricity going through her body.
Different from the many shocks she was experiencing when exiting her car and touching the door. Only once before had she had that feeling.
That day when she was late at night walking by the side of the man she had flirted with for weeks. When he touched her for the first time, that same kind of jolt had raced through her body and almost made her faint
But then, she thought that meant he was her soul mate. As it turned out. He was not - far from it.
But this stranger? Why would her body react like that? What was it trying to tell her? Danger - just like the guy before who seemed so nice and respectable. Or was it this time the sign that she finally had found the right one to trust her bruised soul to. To be taken care off.
Why? She scolded herself. Where did that thought come from? There was no indication that he had romance in mind. But he was watching her - that, she was sure off.
