Today, we are doing something special! We had a donation from a person who wants to be unnamed. You know who you are and we are so grateful for all you do for the freewriters!!!

Two things I do a little differently. I just type "timer" into google and it pops up a 5-minute timer. I also type directly into steemit. I also rarely use a photo, don't I? So that's three things.
Please read, comment and vote (if you have voting power) on each others freewrites as much as you can. Especially if you are new to the platform, you will be surprised how many friendships are formed by reading and commenting on each other's work!

Writing help
A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Just remember that is is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link
Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.
A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

I am presently no at home but in my office doing more than is expected because it's already past closing hour. I am supposed to be paid overtime but, no, i do not enjoy that privilege. Why? Corruption.
So i am in this office not more than a normal bedroom size in Nigeria, filled up with stuffy air. Yes stuffy air despite the air conditioning, the power is not strong enough to effectively make it modify the room to bearable air conditioned.
To add to the stuffiness there is a small Thermocool Refrigerator, six HP desktops and their computers, eight inverter batteries and an inverter, one small Super Master 14" color TV, a printer, a laminating machine, a ceiling fan and some few chairs of different types.
That's is as much as i can describe my room right now.
don't mind my photos, i am not good at photography.

BAJO CERO
It is very cold and silent. The air feels rarefied, I know it's still daylight because some sunlight filters through the ice walls. Sometimes I hear a chorrillo that falls from very high, and I feel in my chest a terrible fear that a frozen river will drown me in this well. If only my leg was not injured, I could try to climb the ice and return to the surface. I hope my teammates find me soon, when the night falls, so will the temperature and it will surely be my end. If I had to give stars to this room, like the stars that qualify hotels, I would not give it five or four, I would not even give it one ... I'd give it a ... below zero.
Thought of an Arctic explorer trapped at the bottom of a glacial ..
