Nose Hair: Freewrite

Nose hair is the prompt I have chosen to #freewrite.

Five Minute Freewrite...

Seeing nose hairs is a pet peeve of mine.

I don’t know which is more disgusting to see, nose hair or ear hair hanging out. It ruins my appetite to see someone in a restaurant blowing their nose or with obvious nose hairs. Okay, I have a weak stomach!

As one ages, hair thins on the head and grows more rapidly in the nose, ears and eyebrows. What’s up with that?

When I see nose hair hanging down, usually on a man, I wonder if he can see himself in the mirror. How could he miss seeing those hairs?

A small pair of scissors or those handy tools for trimming the nose hairs could easily be used to snip the unsightly hairs protruding from the nose.

One should use a trimmer or small scissors...never pluck those nose hairs. For one thing, plucking would break blood vessels and, for another, it could cause infection.

Like everything in our body, nose hairs have a purpose but a little trimming won’t hurt. Those hairs are a defense against harmful germs and spores getting into our system.

Seeing facial hair on a person, such as beards, chin whiskers or moustaches is not a favorite of mine, unless on a buffalo. I especially like their chin whiskers.

I like my man clean shaved with the nose and ear hairs trimmed. Sometimes I have to remind him and help do the nose trimming. :)
