Sunflower seeds in her hair. Wild, frizzy, dirty hair. One sunflower seed sprouted and grew to be the largest sunflower in the county that year. Can you imagine the largest sunflower you've ever seen, then imagine it a little bit bigger, and growing on top of someone's head? That was how her neck broke. Her name was Gretl and this is a true story. She won the blue ribbon, and a special "Best of Show" and another "Judge's Choice" ribbon, too, and as she walked home later that day her neck broke from the weight of the prize-winning sunflower. They're only annuals, too. Well, no sunflower could ever top that, so they retired the category the following year. This is why you should wash your hair on a regular basis, and comb it, too. You don't know what may start to live there and what the consequences may be. The rewards are not always worth the consequences. Who needs the limelight when one has a solid neck, at least?
