With all potential danger gone they climbed up the wagon to get a better view. The ore was visibly glowing in a deep blue and the wagon looked as if it was full of precious treasure, not rock. They jumped on top of the heaping pile and took a good look around themselves. They were in the middle of nowhere, tracks as far as they could see in front of them, and the mine in the distance behind them. They tried to make out where they were, but other than that they were travelling northeast, they had absolutely no idea.
They sat atop the ore for some time more before they eventually got bored of their dull surroundings and laid down on their backs, watching the clouds fly by them. Lying flat on the pile of ore they soon started feeling more and more energetic instead of more and more drowsy. The feeling was similar to drinking a large amount of coffee combined with a good night's sleep. It was then that they realised they have only just scratched the surface of what was going on under the dome.
