They looked at each other to make sure they were both feeling it, and gave each other a surprised look that slowly turned into a smile. They could feel the ore pulsing with energy beyond their wildest imagination. Their minds got cleared of all brain fog and they experienced the most immense mental focus of their lives. No problem appeared too great to be solved. If anything, everything around them seem like too easy of a task to even bother.
High on the feeling of power they just laid there on top of the ore, drooling. They could hear the birds chirping from miles away, see squirrels climbing the distant trees even outside their point of view and feel the soft breeze all over their clothed bodies. They felt as if the entire world was under their reign. They felt almighty.
A few moments later they started sweating profusely. Near instant their clothes got drenched in their own sweat, and the drool turned to white foam. Their vision blurred and they couldn't even make out the faces of one another anymore. They tried moving, but their arms and legs felt as if they became one with the ore beneath them. Whereas before they were granted mental clarity, they were now at a level of a newborn baby.
