With their guns still out they locked eyes on the door at the very bottom of the theatre and slowly proceeded toward them.
The closer they got to the throne the more blinding the light and when they came close enough to see all its fine detail, they could truly appreciate it for the masterpiece that it was. Blinding as the morning sun after a good night's sleep, and done as meticulously as humanly possible. They had to drop the idea of admiring the fine art again and focus on the important. The door that presumably led to the King’s private quarters was only a few footsteps away.
They turned around to make sure there was nobody there once again, and also made sure there was nowhere else the King could run, then approached the doors, exchanged a quick look and James slammed them open by kicking them in. The room was vacant and filled with more Cryosatane. Fine glass tubing was all across the walls in all sorts of different patterns. Some looked like the roots of a tree, others were perfectly parallel, or perpendicular, to one another forming an array of webs of all shapes and sizes.
