Debbie and I went to Twin Liquors today to look for a gift for my friend Alvin, who is turning 80 on Saturday.
Of course the taste testers were there, handing out samples to everybody. Debbie tastes, and I drive.
We headed down towards the wine isles and this guy asked us if we liked cherries? He hands us both a sample of GinJa D' Óbidos Wild Cherry Liqueur.
Debbie drinks her sample, then downs my sample too, remember I'm the designated driver.
The bottle had whole cherries on the bottom of the bottle. He suggested mixing it with a sparkling wine, and Debbie drank that too.
I took Debbie to the car, started the a/c, and went back in to buy Alvin a bottle of Jack Daniels.
At least she can go buy shoes without me! 👠
