Today I would like to update you on my free fig tree, given to me at last year's Festival of Flowers in May 2017.
We dropped in in the ground around June 2017 and we thought we lost it in December during a deep freeze.
With all the 100° days we had this year, I thought it might not produce any fruit, but to my surprise I have had a couple of figs so far this year.
This September in San Antonio 🇨🇱, we are having record rain fall, and my tree is looking healthier than ever.
I'm hoping for some fig jam, fingers crossed. 🤞

Were the figs good? Nothing like a tree-ripened fig. I have one tree that makes fruit but they are bad 🤪
