Cherry Heaven
cherry pie is oh so delicious especially with vanilla ice cream on top, warmed to the perfect degree and flaky crispy crust. melts right in the mouth. nana made these pies for 4th of july, once a year we got to taste the sweet tarter taste of the warm love she put into her pie.
cooled off by the window, just like you see in the movies those days are almost long gone, unless someone is trying to be martha stewart. go to the store and buy a frozen one, the only bakeries i've seen worth going to is in new york city.
who takes the time anymore to bake a cherry pie for their family in a symbol of love, warmth, and comfort. sweet cherries, sour cherries, or the dukes ...
of course my favorite festival to attend is the cherry blossom and attending the washington, d.c., every year was pure cherry heaven while living on the east coast.
some things have to be cherished while the moment is there, and new experiences take their place ...
