Times Two - Poetry
Times Two
The touch of your skin,
your hand in mine.
The scent of your shirt
on a cold, dark night.
Your lips are medicine
our voices entwine.
In dreams of truth
you're healing my mind.
If love has feet,
I know it walks
into my arms,
when my heart speaks.
The darkness has ended,
the long night's gone.
Shadows don't haunt me
into the dawn.
No one is perfect,
not me, not you,
but life seems perfect
and better times two.
