FRIENDS ARE TO BE VALUED AND APPRECIATED!

Having great friends could bring you alot of joy and happiness.

Especially when you have those that can stick around you through thick and thin, it doesn't matter whether you are down,or you are doing so well.

Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people,it's a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association.

Personally i love making friends and having them around but my problem in friendship is not being able to keep friends I can't trust.

I believe in trust so much, i believe in my friends alot too and so if am not able to trust you, it's quite hard to retain such a personality as a friend.

Actually not everyone you associate with can be called a true friend, some can just be around due to the fact that you would always have one thing or the other to do with them.

Here are some qualities I consider in friendship.

• Trustworthy

• Reliability

• Honesty

• Non-judgemental

• Understanding

Everyone has what he or she is after in a relationship but the most important is to go for whatever that will work for you.

I have seen people keep good relationships even with friends that are not trustworthy, they just know how they work around it.

Personally i have an open heart and I don't enjoy friendships where I would have to keep things happening with me away from my friends or the other way round.

Overtimes, there is this issue people always enconter in friendships, some relationships are just like it's one sided.

Now what I mean is, you may always have one person who always feel he/she is always right and deserves to be pleaded with for every misunderstandings in the relationship.

I have been there before and I know how it feels.

It's like whenever there is an issue on board, if you haven't decided to let go, probably beg him/her for you guys to talk things out and make up, there wouldn't be any head way yet for the friendship.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IN SUCH SITUATIONS.

Despite each other's weak point, some friends could just be so hard to please.

But one thing you have to know about friendship is that it involves a lot of sacrifice.

Sacrifice is all about giving away your right, you know that something belongs to you or its due for you and you decide to give away, probably to make someone happy or to please someone.

You may be the one having to sacrifice but to really survival with this approach you have to do all you do without expecting same treatment back.

Not all friends can sacrifice like you do but then if you are lucky to have one good for you.

Another approach to this is also to try talking to your friend about such attitude, you can approach him or her when you guys aren't having issues.

Friendship is to be valued and not endured, there should be a room for understanding unless him or her doesn't appreciate your friendship.

It's also true that not all friends must make it with you until the very end,some friends play their role in your life at a particular point in life and you may never have them back in your life again.

Friends should be able to tolerate each and also support one another where necessary.

The most important thing is that you make the most out of every relationship, also try to add values to the life's of your friends so that even in your years to come, they would always feel your impact in their despite the distance or the state of your friendships.
