Mechanical owl has been doing a great job at spreading puns on steem. I updated the script a bit to increase the variety. Owl puns divided into different groups. For example, to make an owl pun on also I substitute al by owl, this is pretty similar to substituting in always the al by owl. If I substitute in I will make a pun the I will by Owl this is different to the earlier substitutions. These substitutions need to have subtle conditions which I didn't realize about first. For example, if you substitue the al in really by owl it doesn't sound right.
Currently, there are 6 pun-groups (some have sub-groups). For each 6 comments mechanical owl makes, it goes on a quest to find one comment in each pun-group and then it will start over again. To lead a healthy life mechanical owl has pun groups instead of food groups :D
