A Visit to Kumasi Children's Home a Collaboration with @girlsfoundation ghana #Distribution of Beverages and Cereals

Beverages and Cereals and great ways of starting the day and whiles rice can be cooked in lots of varieties to favor the time of eating whether breakfast, supper or lunch, eating rice all the time irrespective of its variety can be a little boring and overboard if you get the point am trying to make, hence we say the need to add some Can beverages and Cereals to alter the nutrition process. Some of the things presented included Nestle Milo, Nido, Cornflakes, Biscuits and some canned foods.

Most of these products are very well filled with lots of nutrients essential for the growth and development of the juvenile, enhancing body and mind growth and strengthening the defense system of the body. You would come across nutrients such as protomalt, calcium for strong bones and teeth, vitamin C for wound healing and cell repairing, vitamin D for strong ones, vitamin b6 and b12 to help facilitate the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and a lot more.

The steem blockchain has impacted lives in lots of ways and there are lot more we intend to do with the progession of time, it is quite unfortunate the steem is dwindling so much and so down irrespective of that it should not be an impediment to helping the society in the anyway we can. I would like to personally express my profound gratitude to @mcsamm of @girlsfoundation Ghana for making this long term plan and dream come to pass, as a personal mentor he has exhibited such altruistic act that goes beyond all circumscribes, he is always all about propagating and giving back to humanity and he does pushes each and every one of us to give our very best whenever he comes around for outreaches, thanks for all the love.

What is @bettervision about?

@bettervision is is a project initiated by @nattybongo and friends to give back to the society the knowledge and skill acquired through the Optometric Studies in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.It is an outreach system where we visit the less privileged communities to offer free eye screening services and education to the people within the community

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To reduce or prevent vision loss through diseases such as glaucoma, cataract and refractive errors.

To enlighten the majority of the Ghanaian population about the importance of proper visual care.

To conscientize people on the need for regular eye checks

To get more people to have their wards screened within the Critical periods of a Child’s Vision Development; thus from ages 3 to till about 10 years.

To help the blind and people with low vision live a better life within the society through education of the general public to stop stigmatization.
