PROJECT LAB: Setting Up A Science Laboratory For our School (Update #5)

Project LAB aims to raise enough funds to set up Science Laboratory in San Miguel Central School, San Miguel, Leyte, Philippines. It has a goal of providing the class with the necessary equipment to achieve better learning among the pupils. Laboratory activities are necessary to provide hands-on experiences with the learners, thus making their learning much more fun and meaningful.

I went to the city today to buy more equipment to be used for my Science lab. I was able to buy some with the amount of money left with my last transaction plus the amount I was able to encash today.

I was able to go back to the store earlier since there are no classes during Saturdays and Sundays. I was able to buy some more. However, I still need more funds to complete, or if not, at least to provide those commonly used equipment during our Science classes.
MATERIALS THAT I STILL NEED:
- Microscope
This is the last piece they had in the store. It actually costs P6,500 in the city. Online shops offers less but I am not that sure about the quality and how long would it take to be delivered to school.
2 pcs Iron Stand which costs P 318 each (no stocks available yet)
2 pcs Iron Ring which costs P 195 each (no stocks available yet)
Then lastly, I badly need WORKING TABLES for my kids. I need 4 working tables since I usually group my pupils into four.

As I have mentioned in my previous posts my classroom is the only Science Class which does not have any working table. I feel bad for my pupils. We are doing hands-on activities everyday and they are just doing it on the floor which sometimes could be hard especially when it's raining and the floor gets easily wet since my damaged windows cannot be closed anymore.
I am hoping I could finish this project by the end of the month. #fingerscrossed

CASH LEFT: P 3821.75
This amount will be used to buy some materials for working tables. However, this will still not be enough. I really need to have this done by next week since I will be transferring to a new classroom.
