Flood Relief in South Indian state of Kerala - Update 33 - 06/Oct/2018

Dear Steemians,

This is the 33^rd update post for the Fundition.io project I have created with regards to the fundraising for flood relief activities in the form of the donations to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in the South Indian State of Kerala.

Updates for last 2 days:

While the orange alert(alert for heavy rainfall) continues, the red alert(extreme heavy rainfall) has been taken off by Indian Meteorological Department regarding the rains in South Indian states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

It's notable that IMD has predicted that, this Saturday(today) and Sunday there will be heavy
rainfall in some districts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and we still have one more day to go out of those 2 heavy rain predicted days.

Kerala government is not taking any chance this time and are keeping an eye on the rainfall and monitoring the water level in dams.

Although it was predicted that South India will be hit with heavy rain and a cyclone will form there, the updated information says that the low pressure area in Arabian sea has become a depression and cyclonic storm is gradually moving towards Oman.

We are all keeping our fingers crossed for one more heavy rain predicted day and hopefully, it doesn't bring back the situation that happened in August this year.

Updates on Donations and Support:

We are approaching 1000$ mark as the project has received 833$ 922$ out of the designated goal of 1500$.
