Flood Relief in South Indian state of Kerala - Update 35 - 08/Oct/2018

Dear Steemians,

This is the 35^th update post for the Fundition.io project I have created with regards to the fundraising for flood relief activities in the form of the donations to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in the South Indian State of Kerala.

Today's Updates:

The cyclonic storm which is named as Luban has been confirmed that it's been moving away from Indian coastal area and moving towards Oman and it's confirmed that Kerala will not get very heavy rainfall as was predicted earlier.

But, there is still a chance of rainfall because of the influence of heavy waves and that will bring rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala over the coming 48 hours.

A study confirms that, Kerala has received rain surplus by 51% for the month of October.

The alert on sea condition continues to be rough to very rough and fishermen have been told not to go into sea.

Updates on Donations and Support:

We just reached 1000$ mark as the project has received 971$ 1010$ out of the designated goal of 1500$.
