I will show you this on the example of one of the most interesting desserts that I had the opportunity to try!
Name: Air Batu Campur (ABC) / Ice kacang
Country: Malaysia

Info: People in Malaysia know how to deal with the warm weather in a tasty way!
The base of this dessert is ice served in a unique form, it has a texture of snow and is hand-shaved from large blocks of ice.
In the traditional version you will find red beans, corn, jellies and peanuts. The whole dessert is covered with rose water, condensed milk and sweet syrups in different flavors.
The version I show you is served with fruits such as mango, lychee, watermelon and rambutan. But the real king of this dessert is durian! A fruit beloved in Asian countries, which smell not everyone can stand. I personally love it for its sweet and unique taste, but I know that many people have trouble to try it.

This is my absolute favourite South African dessert. It's called Milk Tart in English, but it is a dessert of Afrikaans heritage, so we also say Melktert. It is creamy, with amazing vanilla tones. It is similar to a lemon curd or custard in consistency, and the shell is normally a crusty, cinnamon infused pastry.
Normally served as a tea time treat, it is my favourite South African dessert 🌸

Name: Koeksister
Country: South Africa
Price: Generally between R35 for 12/USD$2 - $3/2.2 STEEM - 3.1 STEEM
I tend to have a love hate relationship with this particular dish for two reasons. In Cape Town, the Cape Malay style donut is reffered to as a koeksister while the one I'm reffering to is an Afrikaaner Koeksister. So when someone says they have some and you rock up and its not the one you expected you're going to be annoyed. Secondly not everyone makes it as it should be and it can be overly sweet but when done just right it really is deep fried heaven. It's basically made of fried dough infused in syrup or honey and will have you high on life after one bite.
This shape is crazy, I love it! 😎

NAME: Buko Pandan Special
COUNTRY : Philippines
PRICE: 50.00 | 1.00 USD | 1.20 STEEM
Traditionally, it is Buko Pandan alone. Made from young coconut fruit (Buko), shredded from the shell with condensed milk, eveporated milk and all purpose cream. Green Gelatine with fresh extracted Panda flavor from the leaves. Mixed all together and cool in the fridge, and ready to service as a dessert after meal or it can be a snacks.
But what makes it special is by putting Tapioca Pearls and Vanilla ice cream with roasted rice flakes on top.
Its is very easy to prepare and since coconut is very popular in the Philippines, this dessert is also popular in all occassions, specially during birthday, fiestas, party, Christmas, etc etc. As in all occassion and for daily meal.
The taste was superb, cold and creamy and all the flavors complements each other. My all time favorite!
