All Payments Complete

Thanks to the gracious assistance of @Jonny-Clearwater, I was able to liquidate 200 SBD ($640) and already place a donation in an expedient pace.

Second Payment

The second payment came from the SP which I then used coinmarketcap to convert to USD value and donate my portion which I chose to dedicate the second wave of payments to @jonny-clearwater for his help in the second phase of the fundraiser.

I dedicated the first donation to @ausbitbank, @reggaemuffin, and @minnowbooster. @Nelkeljdm did an incredible amount of the legwork in the first hour or two after posting and I don't think this would have reached a fragment of the success without the help and support of any of these three people.

Third Payment

The Price of SBD was very volatile in a manner that brought the remaining 178.993 SBD between $370 and $420, so I cut it down the middle and made the final payment of $400 after bank funds cleared through. This brings the total to $1,321 which is as close to where it was prior to the drop in post value due to the drop in the internal price of STEEM. I dedicated the final payment to big voters such as @Blocktrades, @Berniesanders, and @Ranchorelaxo along with the incredible support and kind words the @steemSTEM #steemSTEM community came forward with during this time.

Recent Updates

After a month of hospitalization, both have returned home; Samba in Wheaton and Laura in Gaithersburg. Samba saw a doctor who said his throat is healing really rapidly. I hope to bring one final update soon on the final payment.
