Ripple Unlocks 1 Billion XRP from Escrow and Transfers All for Less Than a Penny
Recent activity shows that Ripple recently unlocked a total of 1 billion XRP, worth roughly $302 million, from one of its escrow wallets and sent the funds to a separate, unknown wallet. The transaction only took seconds to complete and cost less than a penny in fees. One unique tidbit that whale watchers pointed out about this transaction was a memo that was included with the transfer which read, “Crawl… Walk… Run… ;)”.
