Fungi hunting. Part 3

in #fungi6 years ago

Went out on a fungi hunt with some friends a few days ago in the Tasmanian forest. I still know very little about fungi i just like finding them to take photos of as i find them very beautiful. There are so many different shapes, colours, patterns and styles etc.

I wish i knew all the different names of these fungi so i could let you all know. We spent two and half hours out in the forest searching and photographing fungi. I do hope you will enjoy these photos and follow along with me on my adventure.

With out further ado lets see some fungi.

Cortinarius.

Interesting and pretty pictures. Be careful though.. poisonous mushrooms 🍄 can shut down a person’s liver in just a few minutes.

Thanks for the warning though i just take photos of them.

in that case, you should be safe.

Oh wow, lots of mushies around now in Tassie it appears. Must be a lot of moisture

Yes so many different types it is amazing.

Loved the fluffy thing in the middle, whatever its name is : )

That one was interesting. Wish i knew more about fungi so i can name them.

very beautiful and awesome photography, may you live long , with good health. i am following you now,, respected upovted you always

Thank you very much.

They remind me of plants, in the sense of variety and color. There are so many shapes, some bigger than others, some edible, while others for their poison can be lethal.

Yes very true indeed.
