Steemians, We are all thinking it, we all want it, so why don’t we go for it?

Why don't we all use bitbots to get on the trending page?
I know it will be lucrative. I calculated how much it cost @yallapapi and @chbartist
They came, they invested, they conquered.
It will cost money in the beginning. The first 3-6 post will lose big time. They might even be downvoted by people that think you are gaming the system.
with these doubts we we all are reluctant to do it. But once in a while a brave person stands up. Yes brave. And this person says: ” hell yes, I’ll pay those bloody bidbots a shit load”. And buy themselves to the trending page. Do we down vote them collectively?
no we don’t!
We actually admire the balls this person has, yes even if she is a woman we admire them. Because we didn’t. We didn’t think our post was worth it.

One day I'm gonna have the balls to push my post to trending.
I assume it's going to be a pretty good post though so I don't get flagged for pushing trash.
And yes, it's mostly those who invest little that get flagged. The big guys who use bidbots most of the time and upvote themselves nearly everytime rarely ever get flagged
I don't make the effort to read the trending page and make the mantra not to use any bid bot. Maybe I am less popular but I am making progress eveyday. ;)

Do you want to use bid bots? You can, they are there for that purpose and advertisement in the end.
I lose money on every post that I push to the trending page. I only do it for vanity’s sake and the hope that I’ll make a little money from the affiliate links I put in my articles.
Hi @yallapapi, thanks for stopping by. I tried to calculate it once. Went through what you and also others paid the bitbods and resteems and see what the post made in the end. I saw that lots of post lost big time. It seemed that you did make some money when the followers grew and steem was higher, but I realize you haven’t been posting much, so it must be difficult. This Chbartist guy might be doing better with 5 posts a day?
But now I know you make money on the links, I will click on all the links several times .....for your sake, I didn’t dare beforehand ;-).
LOL I don't make money on links. I make money if someone buys something after clicking the link. Feel free to buy things ;)
Things used to be different before they capped the maximum payout of the bidbots. But then people started complaining that authors were making money from using bidbots, so most of the owners capped the rewards at 10%.
The CHBartist guy I think just invested a lot and is now using it to grow his other social media platforms. I don't think he's making any money either, just paying for influence really.
