Wilson negli anni è riuscito a conquistarsi una figura di spicco nei Social Media infatti prima è esploso su twitter e instagram per poi aprire uno shop del sul brend e adesso ha aperto il suo canale youtube dove tramite un Prank cioè l suo travestimento tramite un make-up da ottantenne dove la gente rimane incredula per la sua velocità ed il video ha totalizzato quasi 2 milioni di visualizzazioni ed un enorme crescita su youtube ed infatti ormai nel 2018 .
Dean ha perso la moto husqvarna ufficiale nel 2018 per i suoi sfortunati infortuni perchè prima si è lussato la spalla e poi si è rotto entrambi gli ACL dei legamenti un anno sfortunato che gli è costato il posto.
Dean da questi può trarre vantaggi come svantaggi perchè potrà trovare sponsor singoli ma i marchi ufficiali che spendono molti soldi con pezzi speciali per rendere la moto vincente vogliono che almeno il pilota faccia dei podi e buoni risultati e vendendo il video di Wilson potrebbero pensare che sia soltanto un personaggio .
Wilson si sta comunque preparando per la stagione 2019 con una moto stock e sarà presente al Supercross De Paris come ospite e ricordiamo che hanno scorso ha conquistato il 2 posto assoluto infine speriamo per il meglio per Dean e che riesca a trovare un team per la nuova stagione .
